3rd Party Lab Test Results

Where do I find my Batch Number?

Look on the bottle of your CBD Oil and find the batch number.  In this case it is 102.  Look at the list below and for this example find the button under the Product Category Hemp Oil that matches the number on your package.   Click on the button and the Certificate of Analysis ( COA ) will open in a new window.

If you would like to see the test results for our most recent batch of any product type, look below and select the highest numbered button under the Hemp Product Category you are interested in.

F.A.Q.

Some common product testing questions are answered below.

COA stands for Certificate of Analysis.  A COA is created in a test laboratory that is licensed by the State in which it resides.

A COA can have a number of categories of different test results.  A full panel COA typically consists of tests for:  Potency, Pesticides, Heavy Metals, and Residual Solvents.  A full panel COA can also contain additional test results for Mycotoxins, Microbiology, and Terpenes.

This is a topic that has a lot more depth than we will go into here.  There are a number of videos on this topic on YouTube.  Some are fairly short, like 2 minutes.  Others are much longer, like 1 hour.

What’s most important in general is to read the summary ( normally one is given at the beginning of the COA ) and make sure that the test sample passed all categories.

Typically most States have applied the same test result limits for CBD products and for THC products.  As an example, that would mean that the amount of pesticides allowed in a CBD product are the same as a similar THC product.

Some product types may contain small ( but under the required limit ) amounts of Residual Solvents.  This is fairly common in products that underwent an ethanol extraction technique.  In most soils there naturally occurs very small amounts of lead and arsenic.  This is normal and as long as the amounts are under the mandated legal limits, the government has decided these levels are ok for human consumption.

It is puzzling that the allowable limits for all these various cannabinoid products are much lower than the foods most of us eat.  Probably something to do with food lobbyists.

You are always welcome to write or call us here at SoCal Farmz to acquire answers to any COA questions you may have.

A number of manufacturing facilities for hemp products have at least enough laboratory equipment to test Potency in their products.  Some have full labs.

In order to supply customers testing results for their own products, manufacturing facilities are required to have their products tested by an “outside”, licensed cannabis lab.  This way,  since there is no motivation for the outcome of the tests to have certain results, the customer  (and the State cannabis regulatory agency ) has more trust in the lab test results.
